Riding refers to the mastery of various modes of transportation, both ancient and modern, as well as leadership skills, including operations research and management. 

Literature, mainly refers to language and calligraphy, learning and recognizing characters and their meanings, as well as calligraphy, how to write. Nowadays, we mainly refer to language, which is the ability to master the use of words.

The term "mathematics" has now been expanded to include "mathematics, physics, and chemistry," as well as modern natural science.

The six arts include all aspects of our modern education, but modern education has developed and expanded greatly in the six arts, but its essence is the same, all belonging to the category of the six arts. 

This must be remembered, all belong to the category of the six arts.

The Master said, “Set your heart upon righteousness, support yourself by virtue, lean upon benevolence, seek enjoyment and relaxation in the six arts.” The six arts do not belong to the category of morality and benevolence. 

Nowadays, people do not know what it means to “set your heart upon righteousness” and “support yourself by virtue” and do not know how to follow them; in accordance with “lean upon benevolence” it is only a matter of words, of course, very few people are still practicing it. 

The whole society is indulged in the six arts, so it is not called “seek enjoyment and relaxation in the six arts” but “indulging in the arts”.

"Seek enjoyment and relaxation in the six arts" means to be able to handle the six arts with ease based on moral righteousness, and to be able to master the six arts; whereas "Indulging in arts" means the six arts without moral righteousness, only for fame and profit, In order to make money, the easiest and fastest way to be followed. It is all about creating economic value, and GDP.  

Our present education system only teaches the six arts, learning a lot of knowledge and skills mainly for survival and competition. There is almost no education in terms of  morality, virtue, and benevolence, or just a few slogans. 

People now live too materially, and many of them live like machines. If a person doesn't pursue truth, kindness, and beauty and lacks creativity, living in the world has no meaning and is pitiful.
